Master Bedroom Feng Shui

It’s time for everyone to play Feng Shui detective again! What are the issues with the layout of this master bedroom?

I’m almost certain some will point to the wedding photo above the bed; are you among one of them?

Actually, hanging a couple’s wedding photo above the bed is not considered bad Feng Shui at all! All the rumors you’ve heard are likely because some people just decided to link it to a funeral portrait. It is pure superstitions and baseless assumptions made by idle talkers with no connection to orthodox Feng Shui principles.

Put it this way, wedding photos are taken during joyful moments with vibe of happy moments and energies, radiating positive energy. Seeing it every day fosters harmony and sweet affection between the couple and how can this invites the so-called “bad energy” as far Feng Shui is concerned?

In contra, it’s inadvisable to display portraits of deceased family members at home. I know it does has sentimental reasons but this may create lingering emotional attachments to the departed and the worst case, trapping their energies in the living world, preventing them from moving on.

We are a bit far off thus let’s get back to the master bedroom on what are the real issues here?

There are actually two and you may have already noticed the mirror; and the other, which might surprise you, the two beautiful potted plants.

The mirror in the picture directly reflects energies to the bed’s headboard, i.e where the couples heads are resting. These energies directed straight at the couple’s heads while they rest can have negative impact on their mental and neck health. Forget about the “self-scared” by their own reflections so call Feng Shui theory as this is just another baseless idle talks made by Smart Alex who know nothing as in the case of above wedding photos hanging.

As for the two potted plants, if they happen to be placed in the “Peach Blossom” or other romance-related sectors, they might make the couple “too popular” & potentially causing turbulence in their relationship. Put them in the Living Room instead.

So, when arranging your cozy bedroom, keep these small details in mind!
